Archives for the 'Announcements' CategoryThinkblogger’s Best of March ‘08!I know, I know. Its not quite over yet. We still have a bit to go in March, but I just couldn’t contain myself. With the new layout finally available and a growing community here at Thinkblogger, I just couldn’t wait. I wanted to give all the upcoming readers a taste of what they missed over the last month that made a bit of a stir at Thinkblogger. Some Promising Entries of March 2008.
Time to play a bit of Hardball
You can see some similarities from the old one, but it also gives a change in color and a nice fresh feel. I hope everyone likes it Edit: Sorry for all the problems within the last hour. I just added my own custom code of ‘highlight author’, even though I should have just used a plugin, lol. Have a Happy Easter
Have a… It’s important to be with our families. Removal of Blogrush (again)
Why? because it would be a waste of my time and an extra 3 seconds added to my overall load up time. Not only is blogrush useless (received only 2 clicks from it), but trafficjam was no better. Unless someone here has had a better experience and would like to talk about it. Oh BlogRush, How I forsaken thee! I thought that with Trafficjam implemented, that I would at least get a bit of traffic from it. Nope. Nothing. Nadda. I was not even listed on Trafficjam.com, sadly enough. I thought the whole point of Trafficjam was for Blogrush to redeem itself with what looked like to be a potentially valuable directory. I was wrong. Blog Rush is no More! All it did was bulk up the loading time to this blog which has effected my overall load time for Izearanks widget, so it was not as accurate. (or so I am told). .. and then Blog Rush was no more. I am removing Blogrush, in hopes to put an ease to my week of wasted time. I said good day! | |
Here it is. The new layout of Thinkblogger.org. Perhaps the banner is not as flashy as the other one, but the code is much more up to date and lets me do a lot more with it.
So here we have it. I couldn’t even follow through with my 2 week experiment.
